“Commitment unlocks the doors of imagination, allows vision, and gives us the right stuff to turn our dream into reality.” – James Womack
We believe that there are 5 key pillars we should focus on to guide us towards creating a Regenerative Culture: Commitment to the Journey is our 2nd Pillar.
The United Nations explains: A successful sustainable development agenda requires partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society. These inclusive partnerships built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals that place people and the planet at the centre, are needed at the global, regional, national and local level.
When the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) were put in place as a global call to action to ensure a better world for everyone, they created a specific goal for Partnerships.
Goal 17 , Partnerships For The Goals just might be the most important of all the UN SDGs, because the rest of the goals depend on it.
In order to reach the SDGs, governments, the private sector, academics, and civil society all need to work together.
The SDGs were set up in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030. They’re a long-term partnership goal.
Xchange Connexion and our partners are committed to realising our shared vision and we’re in it for the long haul!
